ADR Training
Dangerous Goods Driver Training

Drivers of vehicles transporting regulated dangerous substances must be in possession of the relevant ADR vocational training certificate issued by the DVLA.

To obtain this qualification you must attend an approved ADR course and pass the relevant Scottish Qualifications Authority examinations. If you are successful and pass, your VTC will be valid for 5 years. You are required by law to have your VTC in your possession while transporting regulated dangerous goods by road.

ADR REFRESHER TRAINING COURSES

All drivers in possession of an ADR vocational training certificate will need to take a refresher course before their existing VTC expires. Refresher courses can be taken any time in the twelve months prior to the current VTC's expiry date. It is recommended that refresher training be undertaken at least six weeks prior to the expiry of the existing certificate.
