Driver CPC Periodic Training
E.P. Training is an Approved Training Centre to deliver Driver CPC periodic training. As of September, 10th 2009 periodic training courses for professional drivers will be conducted from our Great Bookham training centre, or in company.

If you already hold a lorry, coach or bus licence (obtained before September 10th), you will have acquired rights, another term for grandfather rights.
This means you don't need the initial Driver CPC qualification. It does however mean you will have 5 years to complete 35 hours periodic training (10.9.2009 Lorries), (10.9.2008 Bus and Coach).
You must attend a JAUPT approved training centre when undergoing training. You can split the 35 hours up, as long as you complete a minimum of 7 hours at any one time. Logically it would make sense to complete one day (7 hours) every year.
Once you have completed your 35 hours you will be issued with a DCPC qualification card. This must be carried at all times while driving professionally. . Failure to produce at the roadside can result in a fine of up to £1,000.
