Driver CPC Train The Trainer

As of September 10th 2008 (PCV drivers) and September 10th 2009 (LGV drivers) the Driver CPC qualification becomes legislation. All professional drivers will need to undergo 35 hours periodic training every five years.
It may be the case that your organisation already delivers training to its drivers, i.e. drivers hours, driving assessments, first aid etc. Then why not consider becoming an approved organisation to deliver Driver CPC periodic training? It could save you a lot of time and money.
E.P. Training services is running Driver CPC "Train the Trainer" courses at our Great Bookham training centre (Jct. 9 off M25), or, if preferred "in company".
To become a Driver CPC periodic training approved company you will need to meet certain criteria, including:
- Training Centre approval
- Approved training programmes
- Approved instructors
E.P. Training has devised a 4 day "Train the Trainer" course, to cover the following subjects
- The requirements for periodic training
- The training syllabus for periodic training
- The process required for centre approval
- Guidance on course structure and layout
- Compiling course programmes
- Course design and presentation
- How to get, analyse and act on customer feedback
- Methods of instruction technique.
On completion of your course each candidate will receive one 7 hours J.A.U.P.T. approved training course, with a Power Point presentation.
Course dates for 2008 are
W/C 27th October 2008 and W/C 10th November 2008.
