LGV TRAINING COURSES

LGV and Driver CPC
E.P. Training has been delivering LGV training for over 30 years. We have a proven track record of delivering high quality LGV instruction. We cater for cat C and C+E licence acquisition. All LGV instruction is delivered by D.S.A. (Driving Standards Agency) approved instructors.  We ensure our training vehicles are modern and well maintained.

Training Course Location
Training is conducted from our training centre in Leatherhead, Surrey, we have the use of an extensive off-road training area to carry out the reversing and controlled stop procedure. Our LGV tests are conducted from the DSA testing station located in Guildford Surrey. The LGV driving test is booked to coincide with completion of your training course.  All training will be conducted in and around the Guildford area.

  
Driver CPC
The LGV test has changed. New entrants wanting cat C1 or C and who wish to drive professionally must obtain a Driver CPC initial qualification as well as LGV entitlement.

What Does This Mean To You?
In order to be granted a Driver CPC you must demonstrate you have the required skills and knowledge to carry out the duties of a Professional Driver. To demonstrate competence you must pass a total of 3 theory tests and 2 practical tests.  Your Driver CPC training and testing and LGV training and testing should be completed in the following order  

 

MODULE 1
(Module 1A and 1A)
 Pass DSA LGV theory multi choice and hazard perception test.

MODULE 2
 Pass the LGV case study theory exam

Pass the associated knowledge practical exam
