EP Training Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions listed herein will form a contract between the 'Customer' and EP Training Services Ltd, known as the 'Company'.

  • All course fees must be paid prior to the commencement of any training, unless other arrangements have previously been agreed with EP Training Services Ltd.
  • We reserve the right to take any outstanding balances due from the Customer's debit/credit card on or after the course start date.
  • Any course cancellation made by the customer must be made in writing to EP Training Services Ltd.
  • Any course cancellation made by the customer within 15 working days of the due course start date will result in full course fees, including VAT and test fees being forfeited.
  • Any cancellation / amendment made by the Customer 15 or more working days prior to the commencement of any training booked will incur a 25% administration charge of total tuition fees, excluding VAT.
  • EP Training reserves the right to terminate any training booked by the Customer if course fees are not paid in full before course start date.
  • Any variations to the joining instructions, course date, time of attendance etc. will be made in writing by the Company to the Customer. The company will make all efforts to keep to the original agreed course confirmation, however in the event of a course cancellation imposed by the Company, the Customer will be offered the next available course.
  • All customers are informed of our terms and conditions which are readily available from our website and head office. All Customers are deemed to have read them before requesting our services or products.
  • Substitution of customer details for examination purposes may take place, subject to reasonable time being given and subject to the terms and conditions of the examination body.
  • Customers who are considered to be under the influence of drink and / or drugs will have their course terminated immediately and all course fees forfeited.
  • The duration of all LGV courses is typically 5 or 10 days, which is administered on consecutive weekdays. Every effort is made by the company to ensure Customers practical tests are carried out on the 5th and 10th day respectively. Where this is not possible, a practical test will be arranged as near to the final course day as possible.
  • All Customers undertaking any training with the Company are required to adhere to any notices or instructions given to them by any member of the company's staff.
  • Where external examinations have been arranged for the customer by the Company, the Company accepts no liability for the accuracy of customer details should a dispute arise with the external examination body.
  • Every effort is made to ensure course notes, presentations and any relative tuition material is correct at time of print. The company accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
  • The Company will not be held responsible for loss of any personal items left in any training vehicle or on the companies premisses.
  • The company cannot be held responsible for any practical tests being cancelled by DSA (Driving Standards Agency)
  • Should DSA cancel a practical test, then every effort will be made to arrange a retest for the customer.
  • The Company reserves the right to terminate any Customer whilst attending a training course, if the Company deems the customer to present a danger to themself and other persons who may be affected by their acts or ommisions.
  • In the event of mechanical breakdown, the company will provide additional training equal to the amount of time lost.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the company training vehicles and on the company premises.
  • Should a student become ill while on their course any tuition not received will be given at a later date subject to us being able to find a replacement candidate to take up the lost time. Any test fee lost must be reclaimed from the DSA and is subject to their terms and conditions. A Doctor's certificate covering the day/s lost, including the test day must be provided.
  • Should a customer wish to make a complaint about the company, then this must be made in writing and sent via recorded delivery to the Company Secretary within 7 days of the course ending. All complaints will be fairly dealt with by the Company Secretary.
  • All students who have booked the pass protection insurance must have held a full car driving licence for at least 12 months. Failure to disclose information to the contrary to this will result in the pass protection being deemed null and void and any further tuition must be paid for.
  • Customers who have booked the pass protection scheme will be given extra training prior to their practical test/s. Extra training means 1 hour tuition prior to the practical test/s, unless otherwise agreed in advance with the company.
  • Should a Customer who has booked pass protection fail to attend any or all of the training courses on the dates and times arranged they will have broken the agreement and forfeited the pass protection and any further training must be paid for.
  • Customers must be aware that adequate provision is made to ensure drivers attending courses are able to comply with the rest requirement laid down in Driver Hours Regs. and the Working Time Directive.
  • It is solely the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct LGV provisional entitlement when commencing an LGV course with the company. Failure to produce the correct provisional entitlement will result in the course being cancelled and all course fees being forfeited.
  • All customers must comply with the companies safety policy and their legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work act 1974.
